Dr David Wilkinson

Dr David Wilkinson prides himself on providing his patients with a successful, friendly and caring experience.   

Dr Wilkinson works primarily in:

• IVF and fertility care.
• Fertility-related gynaecology.

Dr Wilkinson is a fully accredited fertility specialist. He initially studied at Oxford before completing his PhD in London and then specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. He also obtained the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) sub-speciality qualification.

Dr Wilkinson has a well-established infertility and IVF practice. He brings extensive experience and expertise in treating patients in all areas of fertility.

As Head of the Reproductive Biology Unit at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Dr Wilkinson is actively involved in the training of fertility specialists.

Awards and achievements:

• Awarded a PhD for studies on the human immune system.
• Fully certified fertility specialist (CREI).
• Achieved the highest marks in the MRANZCOG exam.
• Instrumental in establishing City Fertility Melbourne.
• Medical Director of City Fertility Melbourne.
• Achieved highest marks in the RANZCOG written exam.
