As 2021 comes to a close, we can reflect on the year that has been and look forward to the exciting possibilities the New Year brings.
Nobody thought this year would be like the last one, but it continued to surprise us with COVID-19 concerns dominating the country. Despite this, City Fertility has adapted and so have our wonderful patients. It has been incredible to watch the sustained focus and determination of both our staff and patients during difficult times.
Our patients are always our top priority, and we are privileged to assist those on their fertility journeys this year – every step of the way!

Opened a contemporary purpose-built IVF clinic in Newstead
In April, we opened an all-inclusive, state-of-the-art IVF clinic and procedure centre at Newstead in inner-city Brisbane. Celebrated City Fertility Sydney CBD’s 150th success story
Sydney patients Natalie and Keith became Sydney CBD’s 150th success story with baby Logan born in October. At the same time, the clinic also celebrated its second birthday milestone. Established a research partnership with UNSW to benefit women’s reproductive health
Two of Australia’s leading researchers in the area of women’s reproductive health are heading up a new collaborative partnership between the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and City Fertility. Professors Robert Gilchrist (UNSW) and Bill Ledger (City Fertility) are leading the research partnership which aims to focus on improving fertility outcomes for women struggling with infertility. They will initially focus on two studies including an advanced form of in vitro maturation (IVM); and a controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) study. Read more
