Increased Demand Drives Need for More Fertility Doctors

Demand for services at City Fertility Centre (CFC) has driven the Melbourne clinic’s recent expansion, which has led to the appointment of Dr Roshan Shamon at the organisation’s St Kilda clinic.

Dr Shamon is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and works as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist, with consulting rooms at Clayton and Hawthorn in south-east Melbourne.

He has been involved in public practice from a clinical and teaching perspective for more than 10 years. He is highly regarded by his patients for his friendly bedside manner and caring nature.

Dr Shamon has an interest in gynaecological surgery, particularly minimally invasive procedures and infertility. He works at City Fertility to fulfil his passion for helping couples who are having difficulty conceiving.

He is also an extensively trained and experienced obstetrician who has admitting rights at Cabrini Hospital Malvern, Jessie McPherson Private Hospital, Waverley Private Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and Healthbridge Private Hospital in Hawthorn.

Dr Shamon has expertise that will bring a new level of experience to the CFC team, enabling more couples to benefit from the service.

CFC is the largest independently owned fertility centre in Australia and has industry-leading pregnancy success rates. It has clinics at St Kilda Rd and Bundoora.

For patients’ convenience, CFC doctors also consult at a variety of locations, including St Kilda Rd, the City, North Melbourne, Bundoora, Heidelberg, Mitcham, Donvale, Clayton, Hawthorn, Brighton and East Malvern.
