At City Fertility, we understand that it’s a significant decision to start fertility treatment and in our experience people have many questions. We also know that not everyone is ready to see a fertility specialist right away – that’s where our GP specialists can help. These experienced GPs specialise in fertility have a broad interest in women’s and men’s health. Our free Fertility Health Checks, are a great starting point and initial step you can take before seeing a fertility specialist.
During the consultation, your City Fertility GP specialist will discuss your medical and fertility history. They may recommend several blood tests, like an AMH test to assess your ovarian reserve, a semen analysis to understand sperm health or a pelvic ultrasound to check structural issues of reproductive organs. After the assessment, they can refer you to the appropriate fertility specialist to address your specific needs.
