Dr Heng Tang brings with him extensive experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, especially in the management of normal and high-risk pregnancy.

Dr Heng Tang is an obstetrician and gynaecologist. He delivers babies at both the Sunnybank and Greenslopes private hospitals. His consultation room is at the Greenslopes Private. Dr Tang started his private practice at the Sunnybank Private in November 2009.
He obtained his MBBS at the University of Queensland in 1994, and completed his internship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1995. He received his DRANCOG at the Redcliffe Hospital and in 2000 decided to pursue obstetrics and gynaecology as a career. He trained at the Mater Mothers’, Redland, Logan and Nambour hospitals and received his FRANZCOG in March 2007.
Dr Tang has extensive experience in the management of normal and high-risk pregnancy. He believes in women-centred antenatal and peripartum care with close midwifery collaboration. He also has a special interest in minimally invasive urinary incontinence and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery. He performs total laparoscopic hysterectomies, and previously ran the urodynamics clinic at Logan Hospital.
Under his affiliation with City Fertility, Dr Tang offers consultations for infertility and IVF services.
As a senior lecturer for the medical schools of both Griffith University and the University of Queensland, he makes sure he is always up-to-date with developments in his field. He is also multilingual.
